Bombay Sapphire launches “The Imagination Series”

Iconic gin brand Bombay Sapphire has launched the “Imagination Series” in association with Tribeca Film Festival, a global film experience offering budding filmmakers the chance to make their own short film with imagination at its heart.

In partnership with Oscar-Winning Screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher (Precious), the competition is based on a specially commissioned script written by Geoffrey, which forms the basis of the short film. Budding filmmakers from around the world can view his script at www.imaginationseries.com and are invited to submit their imaginative interpretation which can include both words and images. Once the competition closes on 1st August, a global judging panel (including Geoffrey and industry experts from the Tribeca Film Institute) will select five winners in December from a shortlist of entries. The winners will go on to direct their own short film, which will be launched at exclusive international screenings early next year.

Alongside the competition, Bombay Sapphire will be hosting a series of “Learn How to be a Film Director”, interactive workshops in July at the recently opened Bombay Sapphire Blue Rooms at Zenna Bar in London.
