Renderyard is pleased to announce that they are now accepting films for their 8th Short Film Festival, which runs from the 5th – 12th November 2012. The festival supports the screening of new Short Films, Animations, Documentaries, Music Videos and Micro Films. The Festival also includes Film Scripts and Film Scores all in competition for the ‘Renderyard Film Award 2012′ and great prizes from long term partner and sponsor JOBY.

The Festival is held in the Theatre of Ibercaja Cultural Center in La Rioja, the wine capital in the North of Spain, as well as online on the Renderyard Film Channel and the Film Network website for the week of the festival.

On this 8th Edition, Renderyard celebrates film exchange with other established international Film Festivals from London, Madrid, Denmark, New York, Japan, cooperation within the film industry and the creative use of film technology to inspire filmmakers and to provoke social awareness in the international film community. The films that are shown have been produced by drawing inspiration from personal sources and influences that allow each director to project their own reflections and ideas as new forms of visual self expression.

At Soho Shorts, we will be screening a selection of last year’s best films from Renderyard on the Rushes Roof Deck on July 16th as part of our Guest Programmes. There is more information on our events page.
