It’s the final weekend of the Cambridge Film Festival, and at Soho Shorts, we want to wish good luck to everyone who’s had their short film screened over the past 9 days.
You can still catch the ‘To Cry‘ programme, which is on this weekend, and which features Giles Ripley’s ‘Happy Birthday Jim’, a favourite from this year’s Soho Shorts.
Also, in contention for the Audience Award, is another Soho Shorts nominee, Callum. If you didn’t catch it at the festival, you can see a trailer, below.

Dana has a BA degree in English and French Literature, an MA in Translations and Interpreting, a diploma in Nutritional Medicine, a PG Dip in Homotoxicology and Bio-regulatory Medicine and is about to add another one to her extended portofolio (insert self-irony) in 2013 when she graduates with a BA in FILM & MEDIA from Birkbeck, University of London. Of all her interests and activities, she is most passionate about film: she wrote two feature scripts, several shorts and is currently involved in getting off the ground her first documentary project about “the molecule of creativity and the banker who quit his job to become an artist”. Only, she’s yet to find him…
When she's not busy with a film festival, wrapped up in books in the library or away travelling, she is writing film editorials for Rushes and pursuing her own research interests in film language and the French Nouvelle Vague.
