The 16th UK Jewish Film Festival is upon us, and it boasts a plethora of innovative, stylish, state-of-the-art documentaries, real life tales that are equal to the finest fiction. From the comical tale ofOma and Bella, two of Berlin’s cheekiest pensioners; to the stunningly edited collage of Serge Gainsbourg‘s life; and the dramatic and scandalous life story of the Oscar-winning Roman Polanski, the films will capture you with their imagination and originality.
You can visit their website here, and more details of how to book tickets for the festival can be found here: http://www.ukjewishfilm.org/festival/tickets
As far as we’re concerned the Documentary Strand is the place to be, covering everyone from Roman Polanski to Art Spiegelman.
Short film folk should also check out the Pears Short Film Fund @ UK Jewish Film Festival
