LIMELIGHT AWARDS 2013 // OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS

Limelight Film Awards short film competition has now opened for the sixth round. To celebrate this all submissions are FREE for the first month – the deadline for free entry is Wednesday 31st October. Last year they received over 265 submissions and they’re anticipating even more this year.  “This not only shows the growth of the organisation, but more importantly the quality and high talent that is in the UK,” says Limelight Founder and CEO, Munsur Ali.

The submission fees for the 2013 round are as follows:

  • FREE Early bird submissions: October 1st – October 31st 2012
  • £5 : November 1st 2012 – March 31st 2013
  • £10: April 1st – April 19th 2013

Submissions are also FREE all year round for those aged 18 and under and / or in full time education.

There are 12 awards categories, including Drama, Comedy and Documentary, with four film nominations per category.  Then there is the ‘Film of the Night’ Award, which is a whooping £10,000 production award, providing the winner with high end film making facilities for their next production.
