inHOUSE Film Festival
09 to 13 April 2014
There’s a new festival in town! inHOUSE Film Festival is set in the incredibly diverse borough of Haringey, specifically, at the Manor House Warehouses. See their trailer here: https://vimeo.com/87138062
In its inaugural year, taking place from Wednesday 9 April to Sunday 13 April, ihFF invites creative minds from all over the world to celebrate the creativity and diversity of Haringey and its resi
dents through visual arts across multi-media platforms.
Our mission is to boost the profile of Haringey, through collaboration with the permanent residents, the influx of young professionals of the last decade and using our connections to encourage interaction with the wider arts and media world. Looking at urban and social transformation we showcase some of the best and most innovative short films, music and fashion videos and fittingly, the theme of this year’s festival will be ‘Transformation’.
Alay Paun, the Festival Director of ihFF would like to invite everyone to celebrate with us, with their own free interpretation of this broad subject: “ I decided to create ihFF as I wanted to give other like-minded young professionals the chance to create something of their own. Whether you are making a film for the first time, have already produced, are from London, the UK or overseas, we want you! We just want to have fun with this and really hope that people will get behind us by entering a film or coming to the festival. All the people involved in organising this event are doing it on a voluntary basis and I am extremely thankful to be surrounded by such multi-skilled and committed like-minded people.”
Submissions are now open for everyone willing to participate with their short films, music videos, still films and fashion films. The deadline for submissions is Monday the 31 of March and entries cost just £3.
Tickets for the festival are £5 for a day pass or £20 for a week pass, with education passes costing only £10.
